According to the karchag this empowerment combines kama and terma, long and short lineages, though it is not clear which these refer to. However, based on a work by Kongtrul in the DNZ on the gcod yul stan thog gcig ma it would seem that the long lineage would involve the work of Tāranātha.  +
This cycle was first discovered by Rigdzin Godem, but then re-concealed. It was later re-discovered by Padma Tsewang Gyalpo.  +
