A great master and tertön from Riwoche Monastery in Kham, East Tibet, and the father of [[Pema Wangyal Rinpoche]], Rangdröl Rinpoche and Jigme Khyentse Rinpoche. In exile, he lived in Darjeeling, where he met and taught some of the very first western students of Tibetan Buddhism, including Matthieu Ricard. Project Description
This website is a searchable catalog of all texts in the Rinchen Terdzö Chenmo, a collection of Rediscovered Treasures (gter ma) of the Nyingma School of Tibetan Buddhism first gathered together by Jamgön Kongtrul the Great ('jam mgon kong sprul, 1813-1899) and includes full unicode Tibetan texts with metadata, as well PDF files of each of the texts as they appear in the Shechen Edition, as well as illustrations, mandalas, and tsakli.
